We use natural and technological techniques to investigate the physical landscape in ways which inform archaeological theory and analysis.
Who we are
Tim Allott (Group: EPRG)
Tim’s palaeolimnological research has focussed on the impacts of air pollution on upland freshwaters and the extent to which acidified and metal polluted lakes and streams can recover.
Will’s palynological research focuses on the response of Mediterranean ecosystems to past environmental perturbation, with a particular focus on abrupt climate change impacts.
Pete’s palynological research has focussed on the environmental context of the Mesolithic hunter-gatherers of north west Europe and the transition form Mesolithic foraging to Neolithic farming in north west Europe around 6000 years ago.
