On choosing my course

Mithila Hore

My motivation to undertake MA digital technologies, communications and education was to explore the significance of data, use of technology in designing course curriculum and role of digital media and information within contemporary societies especially when it comes to the issue of educational sustainability.

On my highlights

The course has given us enough resources to reflect on our judgments as teachers, learners, course designers, educational technologists on the use of technology in different context of education and make the optimum use of it where necessary. Also, how persuasive design of educational platform, analytics and big data are influencing the course of education has been one of the highlights too.

On my learning so far

I believe the course has catered meaningful insights into how digital technologies shape the teaching and learning experience in any educational institution, especially in a post-pandemic world where both learners and educators had to adjust to accepting the new digital experience keeping the learning outcome as a priority. There would not have been more appropriate time to learn about significance of blended learning than 2020, where we were the first ones experiencing it to its utmost meaning.

On my future

The course has broadened my professional horizon as a communication strategist towards catering to the designing of particular courses for contextual educational settings.
