Miaomiao graduated from Digital Technologies, Communication and Education MA in 2019 and now works in a local college doing student-related digital work.

On choosing my course

I have a bachelor's degree in Media and Communication. At the same time, I discovered my passion for education as an English teacher and digital content writer, which allowed me to see how different educational ideas shape people's minds. From then on, I became interested in the combination of digital technology and education. I hope to learn more about the principles of education so that one day I can put them into practice.

On my highlights

This programme explores the real issues of education in the new digital environment. The outbreak has brought more attention to the digitalisation of education, which will no doubt be one of the branches of education that will be discussed more in the future.

On my learning

Master the comprehensive skills of educational apps design, teaching multimedia production, digital teaching material development, etc. I am very grateful for this year's study, which enabled me to learn the educational thinking ability I should have as an educator in the digital environment, which is of systematic help to my employment and entrepreneurship.

On my career development

The practical areas of MA DTCE are diverse, such as educational games, instructional design, educational training, educational product manager, and so on. Currently, I am doing student-related digital work in a local college. In the future, I plan to apply for a PhD and continue to study how educational technologies empower students.
