Study

The RTPI accredited MSc Urban Design and International Planning (UDIP) course is a technical programme focused around studio-based design skills.

The course also provides students with an understanding of the relationship between urban design and planning, focusing on addressing global challenges.

We welcome applicants from a range of undergraduate backgrounds, and provide a year-long applied skills unit which provides the techniques and software skills required to practice as an urban designer.

The course is informed by our research, and is shaped around the Applied Urban Design process and techniques from The Urban Design Toolkit.

We collaborate with professional practitioners through the Professional Practice Forum and workshops delivered by our affiliates, providing students with opportunities to make industry connections.
