Colin Lees English Language for Education Award

One award of £2,000 is available to a BA English Language for Education offer holder with predicted grades of AAB minimum (or equivalent).

The successful candidate will be selected on the basis of their academic performance and the submission of a 500-word statement outlining their motivation for studying their subject.

The deadline for applications is Sunday, 31 March 2019.

As part of our ongoing commitment to widening participation, we're offering a £500 cash bursary to aspiring BA English Language for Education students eligible for a reduced-grade contextual offer.

This bursary is designed as a contribution to aid students with the cost of getting started at the university, such as textbooks and travel expenses.

Planning and Environmental Management

Matthew Ludlam Scholarship

Two awards of £2,500 (for each year of study) are available to Planning and Environmental Management offer holders from a widening participation background with predicted grades of ABB minimum (or equivalent).

Successful candidates will be selected on the basis of the submission of a 500-word statement outlining their motivation for studying their subject. 

Applications are open from January 2019 to Sunday, 31 March 2019. Successful candidates will be notified by Friday, 26 April 2019.
