Manchester Student Society of Architecture (MSSA)

Every architecture student automatically becomes a member of the Manchester Student Society of Architecture (MSSA).

The Society, which is the largest in the country, exists to enhance your experience at one of the UK’s top architecture schools. It organises:

  • the Before You’re 30 (BY30) lecture series
  • the Architecture Summer Ball
  • visits from architects
  • other social events.

The MSSA is also an umbrella organisation for a variety of projects and events ranging from academic events and sports teams, to unique student-led initiatives and student projects.

The Society meets every week during term time and everyone is welcome - undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD alike.
