Supporting Teenagers Toolkit
This website offers a free, online toolkit presenting practical strategies, guidance, and resources that can facilitate individuals working with young people in leading supportive conversations and providing strategic support during the pandemic, based on the findings of the Teenagers’ Experiences of Life in Lockdown (TELL) study. It is designed for use by teaching and support staff working with adolescents in UK secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
Below you can watch the TELL film, which outlines our key findings of how teenagers experienced their wellbeing during lockdown.
Resources
On the below links, you can see some of the key issues identified by the TELL study and resources that may help to support these.
The resources shown here are not exhaustive but can be helpful in thinking about how education staff might go about supporting teenagers during the pandemic.
We want to hear your views on the Supporting Teenagers Toolkit, including our lesson plan and guidance on supporting wellbeing during remote learning. Once you've taken a look, we'd love it if you could complete our survey.
