Application support

Manchester offers several access schemes to give you a taste of university life. If you complete them successfully you will be better prepared for university-level study and could receive a reduced offer in the A-level (or equivalent qualification) grades required to study with us.

Financial support
There is a range of financial support available to study our Education courses. For some eligible students this can add up to more than £3000 per year* of non-repayable bursaries from the University in addition to the repayable financial support you can apply for from the government.

Student support at university
Manchester offers a wide range of student support, from online resources to peer support. We also offer one-to-one appointments with specialists from our award-winning services. Our careers service can even help you to find a part time job if you are looking to gain further financial security while studying.
There is also additional specific support available to Education students in the School of Environment, Education and Development. We can help with a range of issues from wellbeing to academic writing and study skills.
